I had no intention of being a teacher. Initially I had a huge respect for my teachers as a student but it wasn't part of my initial path. I started subbing and it was so rewarding and so immediate that I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceLast year both my middle and high school teams won our state science Olympiad tournament and we got to take both to the national science olympiad tournament. It was so amazing seeing these kids to achieve at the very highest level.
What would you do with the $25,000?Probably buy some new plushies and furniture for my office. It's become quite the student hangout. Me and my fiance are getting married in May so we go along way towards helping to cover some debt. And then I think I'd like to see if I can buy my kids a CNC Mill, I think it would be really helpful for science Olympiad and it be a really handy skill for them to pick up.
