I became a teacher to make a difference. I wanted to make kids love school.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My second year teaching I had a student that hated school. She didn’t want to come. I worked with her and saw amazing gains. At the end of the year she told me the difference I made in her life.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am a single mom of 2. I would definitely save some for emergencies and pay some stuff off so i have more money to do things with my kids.
