I became a teacher because I’ve always loved kids and interacting with them. Seeing them grow, succeed, and discover their potential brings me so much joy and fulfillment. I love making a positive impact in their lives, helping them build confidence, and watching them achieve their goals. Building strong relationships with students and creating a supportive environment where they feel valued and encouraged is incredibly rewarding. Speaking Love and loving them even on their hard days!!

My most memorable teaching experience was with a student labeled a "behavior problem" who had been through four teachers before coming to my class. I focused on building a supportive environment, and a relationship with him. Despite challenges, he stayed the entire year and grew to trust me. By year’s end, he was engaged and helping others. This reminds me that every child needs someone who won’t give up on them and that patience, love, and consistency can truly change a student’s path!!

With $25,000, I would pay off my student loans to ease financial stress. I’d also redecorate my classroom to create a more engaging and welcoming environment. Of course, I’d spoil my students with new books, supplies, and fun learning tools. I’d also invest in professional development to grow as an educator and donate to a cause that supports children and education, ensuring the impact extends beyond my classroom.
