My mentor told me, when I was an aide, that I would make a really great teacher and they needed more special ed teachers. I finished my certification in 5 months and the rest is history. I have never stopped trying everyday to be a better version of myself for my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI don’t think I could choose one, all of my days are pretty special. I’m a special education teacher and I work In the resource classroom. My students always make every day memorable.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to use it to pay off debt my family has and get my husband a new car. He’s driving my old car and it keeps breaking down in the middle of the road. He works from home and made sure I drive the reliable minivan while he drives the car that doesn’t always start.
