I became a special ed teacher to help kids that need more attention and that are sometimes overlooked. I remember struggling in elementary school and felt inferior to others. I believe everyone has value and should feel valued.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have many stories of funny things my students said or did. I think the most memorable part about teaching, for me, is whenever I've established rapport with my students. I know when they feel confidant, happy, and safe. That makes me happy.
What would you do with the $25,000?I became a foster mom a few years ago. I'd love to invest into a single family home, with a few rooms, so I can foster more than one child at a time.
