As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a teacher. I remember adoring my elementary teachers as a child and had the best experience. I said to myself, I want to do that one day. To inspire and transform young minds, and to build such a rapport with every class I have is just the greatest feeling ever. I couldn’t have done it without my mother and father’s amazing and unconditional support throughout my teaching journey. I am forever grateful for them.

It’s tough to choose one memorable experience. I’ve had so many unique and amazing students/ classes. If I had to choose one it would be receiving feedback from one of my former students, Miles. He recently shared with me how teaching him in third grade was the “best school year of his life” and how he “actually wanted to get up and go to school when he was in my class”. It helped him succeed in his future endeavors such as becoming an actor. I am so beyond proud of him and miss him so much!

I would donate half to a breast cancer charity and I would put the rest towards my savings.
