Tell us why you became a teacher

I used to hate school, sitting in a boring classroom all day with teachers I felt didn't know I existed. I was inspired to teach with flair, connect with students, make sure my classroom was fun and safe, and motivate students in their learning.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I don't think I could narrow this down to a singular experience. It's the countless notes received, the conversations with students in which I can connect with them and help them with problems, the struggling students I can help with motivation and inspiring a new faith in themselves, and the laughter and memories built in a classroom focused on kids.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This would go a long ways towards paying off student loans! I would also love to invest in flexible seating for my classroom.
