Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSeveral years ago my dad passed away from stage four colon cancer. When I returned to school I thought it was important to tell my students what happened. They greeted me with empathy, kindness, and all the love. It was a really touching moment.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000 I would create a legacy scholarships in honor of my dad. He was a huge advocate for education and reading was his favorite pastime. It would be incredibly special to be able to help students in financial need realize their potential through a scholarship. You never know where the next teacher, scientist, or president could be!
