I became a teacher for 2 reasons. The first is the same as all teachers. I love kids and want to help them in their future and I love what teaching offers. The second reason is I feel more teachers in my career as a student failed me and I didn’t want that to happen to kids like it did to me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI’m not sure I have one. Everyday brings its own memorable experiences. The other day a parent told me their child goes home and never stops talking about me. That’s a great moment. The best moments are when your kids are laughing, learning and bonding though. That’s the real answer.
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay off my student debts, use some of it to help pay for my wedding this June, and use some to help build a play ground since my school doesn’t have one.
