Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceA young man named Nicholas had challenges reading. He stumbled through decoding words. I volunteered 1,000 hours that year (off of the clock). When Nicholas began to read well, it was beyond amazing and rewarding. Another memorable teaching experience is when I assisted a young lady with a collegiate writing assignment. She was going to quit school. The next time I saw her, she had earned her undergraduate degree as well as her Masters. She said I was the reason she hung in there.
What would you do with the $25,000?I will create a Literacy Program in my Community and beyond by hosting a mobile children’s library.
