What is your favorite part of being an educator?

As a teacher, I have a variety of things and circumstances that I consider my favorites. First, witnessing my student fulfill their aspirations, such as obtaining a college degree in their desired field, consistently evokes tears of joy as I am aware of my contibution to their success. Gratitude and recalling the times they spent with me, their joyous expressions and laughing as they reminisce bring me great delight.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience.

Superiors watched me teach my lessons during my first year as a teacher. I had everything prepared, even the script of my lesson. Then, not even half of my lesson got lost. I cannot find my next teaching materials; it was just all messed up for me. After the observation, everything I needed was right there. Lesson learned: Always be ready and know your teaching objective.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If given the chance to be granted, $1,500.00 will be donated to my school, and $3,500.00 will be donated to schools in the Philippines. That's a big amount to help at least four schools. The rest will be saved  and to help out some families in the Philippines.
