Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience.My most memorable moment was when a student who couldn’t speak at the beginning of the year was able to say a full sentence by the end of the year. His classmates recognized his accomplishment and all started cheering and clapping for him! He had a big smile and was so proud! I started tearing, knowing I was a big reason why he was able to speak.
What would you do with the $25,000?I will donate about $5000 to Grant Elementary used toward playground structure and Conway’s Closet ( a program I started at our school which offers winter jackets, snow pants, boots, hats ,scarves and warm mittens/gloves to the students in our school who can’t afford them. Students can also from the borrow from the closet if they forget items. The remaining funds will be used to buy windows at my house and pay whatever taxes the government takes.
