Tell us why you became a teacher

I had many great teachers, who throughout my educational career helped me become the person I am today. I had teachers who brought out the best in me and I loved that about them. I wanted to help others the way that I was helped by the teachers in my life.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

The most memorable teaching experience I have had is the year I offered beginning ballroom dance to my high school students. I had 55 students in the class and all of them wanted to be in the class. Students were willing to learn to dance and interact with their peers in different ways. The students wanted to succeed in the class and get better everyday. I loved this experience.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First of all, I would take my wife on a nice vacation. Secondly, I would use the rest to buy supplies and equipment for my classes to use.
