"I teach to grow leaders who are passionate about agriculture and committed to making a difference in their communities. Through service learning and involvement in FFA, I strive to instill values of responsibility, teamwork, and innovation. Together, we cultivate not only knowledge but also the skills and character needed to lead in the agricultural industry and beyond."

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

"It's hard to pick just one favorite teaching moment, as my program is wonderfully diverse. I love seeing students learn essential writing and communication skills through their applications. Witnessing underserved and nontraditional students discover a love for welding and mechanics is incredibly rewarding. Additionally, the hands-on experiences—such as pulling a calf or performing a necropsy—allow students to connect with agriculture in a profound way.

What would you do with the $25,000?

"If I had $25,000, I would invest in our ranch to enhance our cattle operation. This investment would not only improve our ranch's productivity but also provide invaluable opportunities for students to engage with real-world agricultural practices, further enriching their education. I would also take a small amount to take a vacation."
