I love to help people and teaching lets me do just that. I teach middle school and even though the kids are going through crazy changes in their lives, I love to be able to help them navigate their life and create a spark in their love for learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI keep little notes and letters that student write me though the years. It was an awesome experience getting to catch up with former students at my son’s wedding this summer. I was able to tell them that I reread those notes and she didn’t even remember writing it. That really encourages me to keep going when days are long and tough.
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay off bills and maybe a vacation for my husband and me.
