Tell us why you became a teacher

I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to significantly impact children's lives, particularly those who are at an economic disadvantage. My mission is to establish a secure environment where each child feels capable and valued. In addition to helping kids develop the confidence they need to succeed in life, teaching enables me to show to them that studying can be both fun and rewarding. No matter what challenges they encounter, I strive to show them that their potential is boundless.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was working with a third-grader who had trouble with letter sounds and frequently acted out because he felt behind his peers. He lacked confidence in the beginning of the year and would misbehave out of discontent. By means of tolerance, motivation, and customized assistance, his conduct considerably improved. He demonstrated remarkable improvement and joy in his achievements by the end of the year, not only being on grade level but also being able to read.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I received $25,000, I would use it to buy essential supplies for my classroom that my school district does not provide. To improve learning and make lessons more engaging, I would buy intriguing educational centers, books, and realistic hands on materials. I would simply establish an enhanced learning environment that encourages each student's creativity, development, and love of learning. These materials will help all of my students succeed, regardless of their socio-economic disadvantages.
