I have always truly believed that teaching is the best profession in the world. Inspired by my uncle and grandmother—both outstanding educators—I realized that education is not just a job, but a calling. I strive to make a difference everyday by sparking curiosity, nurturing growth, and empowering every student to reach their full potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI've had so many unforgettable moments it's impossible to choose one—from the joy of watching my students achieve their goals, to leading my FCCLA students to national competitions, and winning Teacher of the Year. But also the everyday moments sharing laughter and tears as we navigated life's highs and lows together to name a few! I love my job!
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win, I would put some money towards my Doctorate student loans, make some much needed home improvements and donate the rest to causes that support my advocacy efforts. This would be HUGE for my family as it will advance my studies, and fuel initiatives for positive change, which will empower me to better serve and inspire my community.
